5-Axis Machining
Spirit AeroSystems’ 5-axis center of excellence in Wichita, Kan., focuses on large, complex, soft metal parts for fuselage, pylon and wing structures, all built on high-tech, high-speed, latest-generation equipment.
Chemical Processing
Along with 5-axis machining, the Wichita site includes a center for excellence dedicated to chemical processing, a unique area of expertise among tier-one manufacturers. The site features one of the world’s largest automated processing lines.
Composite Fabrication
