We extend invitations to our suppliers, customers, and special guests to visit our different locations for business purposes. We are dedicated to ensuring that their visit is not only enjoyable and informative but also prioritizes safety. Our company places great emphasis on the safety and well-being of everyone involved, and we have implemented rigorous safety rules and procedures that adhere to all federal, state, and local safety requirements.

Welcome to Boeing Wichita. We want your visit to be enjoyable, informative, and, most importantly, safe. The safety and well-being of our employees, customers, and visitors are top priorities at Boeing.

All Boeing Wichita operations and organizations adhere to strict safety rules and procedures and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local safety requirements.

General Safety Rules

  • Do not enter a production area without a Boeing host or representative.
  • Observe all posted signs and instructions related to personal protection and safety.
  • Appropriate footwear is required (substantial leather or equivalent footwear only; no high heels or open-toed shoes).
  • Eye protection (safety glasses) and hearing protection (earplugs), when required, will be provided to visitors and must be worn in designated production areas.
  • Safety glasses must be worn while riding open scooters, and all hands, arms, legs, and feet must remain inside the scooter at all times.
  • Stay clear of roped-off or restricted areas.
  • Maintain a safe distance from all operational controls, systems, moving machinery, and equipment.
  • Crane operations can be hazardous. Remain alert and stay clear of suspended loads.
  • Smoking is prohibited on Boeing property.
  • If you experience an accident or injury during your visit, immediately notify your Boeing host or representative. In an emergency, call 526-3333.
  • Contact your Boeing host or representative if you need additional information or assistance.

Your Boeing host or representative is responsible for providing area-specific safety instructions, including evacuation routes and severe weather shelter locations. Evacuation and shelter maps are posted throughout the facility.
