Safety First

We extend invitations to our suppliers, customers, and special guests to visit our different locations for business purposes. We are dedicated to ensuring that their visit is not only enjoyable and informative but also prioritizes safety. Our company places great emphasis on the safety and well-being of everyone involved, and we have implemented rigorous safety rules and procedures that adhere to all federal, state, and local safety requirements.

To guarantee a safe visit, we kindly request that you review and familiarize yourself with the general safety rules provided below.

Welcome to our Spirit Facility.  We want your visit to be enjoyable, informative, and safe.  The safety and well-being of employees, customers and visitors are of primary importance to Spirit AeroSystems. 

Every Spirit operation and organization adheres to strict safety rules and procedures and complies with mandated Federal, State, and local safety requirements.

General Safety Rules

  • Do not enter a production area without a Spirit host.
  • Observe all signs with instructions for personal protection and safety.
  • Appropriate footwear (substantial leather or equivalent footwear, no high heels, or open-toed shoes).
  • You must wear eye protection (safety glasses) and ear protection (earplugs) provided to visitors in production areas where they are required.
  • Safety glasses must be worn on all open scooters and hands/arms and legs/feet must be within the scooter.
  • Avoid roped-off areas.
  • Maintain a safe distance from all operational controls, systems, moving machinery, and equipment.
  • Crane operations are hazardous.  Be aware of and stay away from suspended loads.
  • Smoking is prohibited on Spirit AeroSystems property.
  • If you have an accident or become injured during the visit, please contact your Spirit AeroSystems host/representative.  For an emergency, please call 526-3333.

Your host/representative is responsible to provide you specific instructions for the areas you may visit regarding evacuation routes and severe weather shelters.  Evacuation routes and shelter maps should be posted in the area.
