Update on IAM Contract Negotiations

Since May 1, Spirit and the IAM have been negotiating a new collective bargaining agreement, with the existing CBA, set to expire at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, June 23. 

The company’s objective is to reward our IAM-represented employees with a fair and competitive contract that allows Spirit to meet increased customer demands.

Like any responsible business, Spirit must prepare for potential scenarios that might impact our business. As part of that, you may notice that preparations will be made in the event of a work stoppage. 

These include temporary guard stations and other measures designed to ensure the safety and well-being of our employees.

We realize this may cause some concern, but please know that these measures are strictly precautionary.
