Jumpstart your career in advanced manufacturing with Spirit AeroSystems' Apprenticeships
Spirit AeroSystems has three existing apprenticeship programs offered in the areas of Facilities Equipment Maintenance Electrician, Facilities Industrial Mechanic and NC Programmer. Apprenticeship Students are Full Time Spirit employees with access to great career benefits and incredible industry exposure. Wage and starting dates are determined by each program area and students are provided this information once selected as an apprentice.
Current programs consist of 4,000 to 8,000 hours of combined technical schooling at a certified technical institute and on the job training. The students attend school during their work week and maintain passing grades while working side by side with a senior level technician for their on-the-job training. This enables the apprentice hands on training on all the diverse equipment throughout our plant.
