Spirit’s Brian Black recognized for diversity leadership

Butler Community College presented Spirit’s Brian Black with the 2016 Diversity Leadership Award. The award recognizes an individual who has contributed significantly over a sustained period of time to advancing diversity, inclusion and respect in their workplace and in the community.

“Spirit is very fortunate to have Brian Black as a member of our team and as our champion of Diversity and inclusion efforts,” said Justin Welner, Spirit’s VP of Human Resources. “Brian brings the same tenacity to work that many of you have experienced working with him in the community.

Black is Spirit’s senior manager of Global Executive Development & Diversity. He oversees and leads multiple diversity and inclusion initiatives that impact all of Spirit’s global facilities.
