Student Opportunities at Spirit AeroSystems
It is never too early to begin to look for a meaningful career. One option that students fro
m the United States have is the Spirit AeroSystems summer internship program. The Spirit AeroSystems paid internship program allows top students to spend the summer working alongside some of the top professionals in their field. Our internship program provides students the opportunity to work at a company that values results in a team based environment. Interns are treated as full-time employees, which means they leave Spirit AeroSystems with a real-world work experience.
Spirit AeroSystems looks for dedicated candidates to fill the internship positions. The ideal candidates:
- are enrolled in a full-time, academic program at an accredited college or university and classified at a minimum of junior standing
- maintain at least a 3.00 GPA on a 4.00 scale
- have a passion to pursue their goals
The Spirit AeroSystems internship program is offered for the summer only and lasts between nine and 12 weeks. 
Spirit recognizes that school needs to be a student’s No. 1 priority, so the start and end dates can be arranged to fit into a student’s schedule. Some interns are offered part-time positions upon completion of their internship and remain at Spirit while finishing their degrees. Successful completion of the internship program may result in offers extended to candidates contingent upon successful completion of their academic degrees.

more. Interns are encouraged to take part in a variety of social activities including softball leagues, barbecues and bowling nights, plus cultural events such as concerts and music theater. Student interns from across the country leave with new friends and colleagues.
