Hello and welcome from Spirit Aftermarket Customer Support! As with any new company, Spirit’s Aftermarket organization finds itself busy on many fronts… from spare part sales, repair activities and new proposals to future plans on current and new airplane programs. In this issue we highlight a key element of our customer service excellence….the team that supports our 24/7/365 customer support desk. This is an area of personal interest to me -- that even as we grow and move into new programs, we remain committed to this key business fundamental.
I've always believed that the opportunity for great customer service begins the moment the phone is answered. The person on either end, whether it's the caller or the receiver, can set the tone for the interaction. For Spirit Aftermarket, we can control only what happens on our end of the line. That's why our Customer Support team is so important to our mission. Without their expertise, their friendliness, and their willingness to go the extra step to understand and meet the customer's need, we'd be sunk as a business.

Latest activity
– Spirit successfully completed GE94 modifications for Vietnam Airlines. Upcoming field service visits are scheduled to KLM and Alitalia.
– The repair and exchange of first 777 RR Trent 800 thrust reversers for Cathay Pacific was successful. Additional units are in work at Nordam’s Singapore facility as part of our teaming effort.
– In conjunction with our Boeing MRO partnership, Spirit has received and is repairing its first-ever GE115K thrust reverser for Air France.
